What is better than a stocked freezer full of locally raised beef? Your beef will come directly from Diamond B Ranch located in Middle Tennessee. The cattle are raised on lush, plentiful pastures and are finished on grain feed. Once they are the desired weight, they are brought into the processing plant where they will dry-age for 21 days. Dry aging is a process where the meat hangs, allowing for drip loss and for enzymes to break down fibers. This creates a more tender and flavorful piece of meat.
After that process, the meat will be cut to one of the different options we have. A member of our team from the Ranch will be in contact to go over these options and answer any questions you may have. At that time, a pickup time will be scheduled.
A Quarter beef is $6.20 lbs, half beef is $6.15/lbs. and a full beef is $6.05/lbs. which is charged on the animal's hanging weight. The estimated price is between $1,100 and $1,400 for a quarter. $2,000 and $2,950 for half and $4,200 and $5,500 for full. which is based on an estimated animal hanging weight of 350 and 500 lbs. for half and 800 to 930 for a full animal. Once it is weighed, we will charge you the final price minus the deposit. You will receive a receipt for the final charge.
The estimated take-home weight in pounds of meat is100-130 for a quarter, 200-250 for half and 400 to 600 pounds for Full, approximately.
The meat will be vacuum sealed so that you can enjoy everything for over a year like it was on the day you picked it up. It maintains freshness for over 12+ months in the freezer.
Diamond B Ranch recommends freezer space of 1 cubic foot for 25 pounds of meat.
Please note, you are purchasing a deposit by buying this product at $400 for a quarter, $500 for half and $650.00 for full. Once your deposit is made, you will then be in the queue. It may take up to 9 weeks approximately for half and full beef before it is ready to pick up but most of the time sooner. A quarter is ready as soon as 1 day to a week in most cases. We do not offer shipping currently. But it will be in the future.
